Close! Nightmare Asylum and Labyrinth

Although /u/Polyducks and anyone interested should also pick up Earth Hive and The Female War because Earth Hive, Nightmare Asylum, and The Female War all go together as a trilogy.

It was novelized as a series of starting with Earth Hive:

Here is Book one of the 3 part series. They also made comics for it if you look up the Aliens Omnibus. They are a great read if you like the Aliens franchise.

After the first three, Labyrinth and Rogue were badass. Alien Harvest was kinda okay, Genocide was retarded. Just my subjective opinion of course. But Earth Hive, Nightmare Asylum and the Female War were fucking beast mode.

Edit: I was never too much into the AVP shit, but the book Aliens vs. Predator: Prey is some awesome storytelling. Same writers as the first three Alien books.

Comics: Aliens Omnibus Volume 1

Books: Aliens: Earth Hive

The book is the 'same' story as the first part of the Omnibus. Start with whichever medium you prefer. Shop around for better prices. Both are also available as EBooks.

Thanks! I think I'm going to continue it. In the meantime there's a whole series of novels about what happens when you-know-what gets loose on Earth. They're dated, but still good.
