I like that you can put in the serving size and carbs and it calculates on the fly.

I love it.. I have had it for years. You can program in your own food database if you want but the included database is plenty good enough. It can hold up to 11 lbs which is plenty. It is backlit which I love. Has a 99 entry memory for long term tracking. It looks nice. It has a tare function.
There's lots of good advice in this thread already, but I just wanted to add that a scale that calculates nutritional values of foods as you weigh them is a very useful tool to have.
