im really into old families/money too. it's so interesting. you NEED to read this book on huguette clark (http://www.amazon.com/Empty-Mansions-Mysterious-Huguette-Spending/dp/0345534530) so so good. she died at 104 with millions left and mansions she hadnt seen in 80 years!! her family story is also very interesting. she was a product of her fathers second marriage and he was already in his late 60s when she was born. she lived to 104. so her father was born a few decades before the civil war and she lived to see obama elected. so crazy

I tend to read non-fiction or historical fiction. Just finished Empty Mansions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Now reading Helen of Sparta in early release.
