Ok! Well I am a 24 yr old female with combination skin. I am normal on my cheeks but oily in my T zone. I've dealt with severe cystic acne my entire life but after seeing a dermatologist and getting chemical peels and changing my diet, it went down drastically. Now I am just left with hormonal acne on my chin and some discoloration on my skin. So here is my brand new routine I started a week ago! Many of these products have made people break out but it's just about finding what's right for you :)

Morning

I've also been taking [primrose oil supplements] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NH5AK2S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but it's only been a week and I'm not sure if it's doing anything yet. I bought some other stuff too but since this worked for me, I am sticking with it and might change it up next week and add more things in.

I take evening primrose capsules. [These] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NH5AK2S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to be more specific. I am prone to cystic hormonal acne on my chin. I used to have cystic acne all over my face and then switched to a keto diet which cleared most of it up and then I was just left with those annoying pimples on my chin during my period. I switched to asian skincare products and the evening primrose capsules and if I get any acne now...it's one or two small pimples rather than 6-8 huge ones. I also don't suffer from dry skin anymore and my hair and nails are sooo strong.

This has been me for a few years. I thought I was still struggling with acne prone skin that i thought I conquered in 2009. I finally figured out that it was hormonal acne, especially because I wasn't getting acne anywhere else on my face at all (except tiny little whiteheads on my nose that pop up overnight if i don't clean my face properly).

I can't find the thread, but somewhere here I read about evening primrose oil for hormonal acne. I'm not on any birth control and was unwilling to take spiro just for a couple deep zits a month. Figured what the heck, I'm not taking any other supplements so I might as well try.

And holy cow it has WORKED. I started right after my period in March and my April cycle was nearly clear, with a couple small spots. I've been slacking on skincare in May, so this month I had some red spots, but nothing deep. No pustules, nothing painful, nothing errupted.

I'm taking these: https://smile.amazon.com/Primrose-Softgels-Cold-Pressed-Artificial-Ingredients/dp/B00NH5AK2S/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1527390180&sr=8-5&keywords=evening+primrose+oil

Just one per day because they're 1300 mg each. As with any kind of medicine or supplement, check for interactions with any meds you're taking. If you're on BC or another hormone influencer, check with your doctor first.

I don't think there is any downside to trying. This is the brand I take. You can see the dosage is 1300 mg per pill. I find that buying it online is cheaper. The company that sells it also has free shipping if your order is above a certain amount, and they sell all sorts of things so if there is something else you normally use you can bundle that into your order and get free shipping. They even have some drugstore brand things, like Cetaphil and Eucerin and CeraVe.

If you have Amazon Prime you can get the same dose in this and get the free shipping.

I had hormonal jawline acne for years until I started taking evening primrose oil. Works like magic: zero breakouts. I take 1300mg every day. Also minimizes mood swings, cramps, and menstrual migraines for me.

I started getting those with my birth control change. I started taking Evening Primrose supplements once a day and it greatly reduced the breakouts.

Made a reddit account for the reason that I want to tell people how to get rid of hormonal acne. I swear I tried everything. Every bitch control, diet changes (some very extreme), spearmint, vitex, every skin care product...... the thing that WORKED and completely got rid of my acne is Evening Primrose Oil. I swear it's a magic pill. Can't believe one really exists. I take one every day with dinner and I just don't get acne anymore. Still clogged pores, but just tiny whiteheads/blackheads, never cysts. I used to get a bunch of giant cysts on the lower half of my face, and especially bad during time of the month. Now, nothing. Still can't believe it. BTW I tried curology and it did nothing for me either. The best skincare line I've found is Drunk Elephant. Look them up. Expensive, but worth it. Also, get a prescription for Retin-A. That stuff works wonders.

You can get a big ol’ bottle of capsules on Amazon for relatively cheap.
This is the one I bought.
I went from 0% effaced and no dilation at 37 weeks to 80% effaced and 1cm dilated at 38. Take them 3x a day orally.

I get these. I keep mine in a room temperature cabinet and have never had issues with rancidness.
