The 1050ti & 1050 are not good value cards, that's the bottom line. You're paying way too much for what you get.

You can save £50 extra and get something twice as good, or you can buy a really cheap used card from an older generation that will perform as well.

I can personally vouch for it, it's a great card, I played Hollow Knight on it 1080p 60fps and it did well on modern AAA titles until recently. I could even play Dark Souls 3 at 1080p 60fps with good settings.

Honestly, if you're not going above that price just buy a used card with similar performance - the 1050 & 1050ti isn't priced well, it's a bad value.

Edit: As for dollars, you can find something similar on the US sites I'm assuming. Oh, and there's no such thing as a 960ti, there isn't even a 950ti.

Thanks so much for your help, been incredibly helpful! Sadly the GTX 970 is way over my budget but the R9-280X from AMD looks really good and in my budget. If you would not mind would you look at these links and tell me what you think of the cards? I am a completely oblivious when it comes to cards to be honest. (I do not even know if these cards are compatible with my PC.

I was noting down prices on a few cards last night that I was interested in and noticed that this had gone down compared to what was posted last night (£143)

I also noticed a few cards such as the EVGA 760 2GB went up by £5.40, the XFX R9 280x 3GB also sneakily went up by £5.41 as well and the ASUS GTX 760 went up by a mere £0.09.

Edit: Oh screw that, the EVGA went up again and it is now £189.20, up by £26.21 compared to yesterday (£162.99)

An EVGA GTX 760 is very close to £200. You can grab an Asus one for £185~ which is also great.

The 270X is pretty alright too, although it isn't as good as the 760 unless it's higher than 1080p.

I would suggest the 760, Asus or EVGA.
