Grips and shell
I was a bit of a creeper and took a peek at OP's comment history to search for their explanation 馃憖 For some reason it's not showing here, but basically they bought the shells and buttons on amazon from extremerate (I got mine from there as well). They also sell the backplates and joycon shells separately if you wanted to do different colors.
As for installation, there are youtube videos showing the entire process. I'd suggest checking them out first before you buy since it looks lengthy and painstaking. Extremerate has their own instructional video as well but it doesn't really explain anything. I prefer this one by jerryrigeverything since he goes into much more detail and shows you what he did step by step.

thanks! i got the replacement shells from extremerate on amazon (x, x, x, x, x) and watched a video to help me disassemble my switch. if you're going to do it tho i suggest using your own screwdrivers since the ones they provide are kind of shoddy and can strip the screws easily!
