Except there are some nice refillable k-cup filters or even paper disposable k-cup filters. Then you can then use whatever brand of coffee (or tea, they work ok for tea but it's a bit weak). We have one of these Keurigs are my office and I didn't want to spend the 50 cents per cup that they charge us so I bought one of the refillable filters and have been using it with my own coffee.

This seems like a good fix. You could probably fill this thing up very easily, and use whatever kind of good fresh coffee you want. Also, the paper filters would be a lot better for the environment than those plastic little capsules.

However, I have never used a keurig or these things, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

This is by far the easiest/cheapest combination method for using a Keurig and brewing whatever coffee you have. You buy the plastic cup once, and then can buy disposable filters (packs of 50). This way you can brew any ground coffee in the Keurig. Super simple and convenient.
