I used to be a huge proponent of dermaplaning, but I'm pretty sure it was a major factor in ruining my moisture barrier + causing dermatitis. It's manual exfoliation, so if you’re doing any other sort of exfoliation (i.e. chemical), you run the risk of over-exfoliating aka severely damaging your skin.
