Here's the product https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00GNQ10VS?camp=217145&creative=399373&creativeASIN=B00GNQ10VS&linkCode=as2&redirect=true&ref_=sr_1_10&sr=1-0&tag=anker02-20

It's about twice as thick as it was with my previous case, but if I thought it was too big for the extra battery I wouldn't have used it for the past year.

I use the Anker 7800mah battery, and I consider it one of the best purchases that I've made lately. I get a few days per charge, and I got used to the added bulkiness of the phone very quickly.

Get an Anker 7800 mAh battery ($20) and a zerolemon case ($20). They work fine together. Zerolemon cases are made to fit ALL extended and standard batteries on the market. I have a zerolemon battery and their case on mine and I love it. I ordered my parents the Anker batteries with the zl cases and I wish I had gone that route.

Edit: price is up $10 on the Ankers but still a great deal

Would you like 3-4 days of battery life? Would you like to keep your Wifi, GPS, brighness on all of the time? Would you like this all for only $30?

This is one of the best purchases I've made.

Look in theory, you're right, but you also have to remember that stuff like this exists for samsung phones, it's $24 shipped with prime, triple the capacity of even the replacement gamepad battery, and really high quality.

This guy is asking an actual question, and telling him that some batteries are shitty isn't really helpful. He's asking because he's trying to avoid a terrible replacement, while still spending less than $50 on the official one.

This is the one I use, from Anker. They've got 2x capacity batteries as well, but I didn't like the uneven back of that. I got used to the weight and size quite quickly. It is substantially (ie: 2.5-3x) thicker than the stock phone with no case, but I'd rather have the battery life.

Playing Ingress, specifically, drains any battery too quickly. At least with this I've got a chance to play longer without recharging.

There's a few other manufacturers as well, but I've always had good luck from Anker.

I imagine you could use this external NFC antenna/booster. If it's not powerful enough, then taping it to the back of the batterypack with two leads going into the case to the NFC ports should work too.

Edit: Found the product on amazon. If it works as well as the first reviewer says, it would extend the NFC range by half an inch, which should be compatible with the Anker 7800mAH case, as it's not even a 0.5in thick. :)

Here's an extended battery. Kind of like a battery case. It's just a huge battery that replaces your built in battery. That way it just increases your battery capacity and forget about it.

Anker 5200mAh: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPLMG86/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_9ZbKxbYSZFBFA

Personally I'd just go with the Anker batteries. They're just cheaper in this case. I've bought stuff from both brands and they're both pretty reliable.

I picked up a 7800 mah extended battery from anker and never looked back. Sure the phone is a bit thicker with the new case than my old one but it lasts about 3 days on average now.

Oh, but there is! I have the 2x Zerolemon 3000 maH /w charger coming in for 25 or 30 bucks. No more daily charges for me!!

I have an S4 with a 7500MaH battery. I am not impressed.
