I grew up in nearby Pottsville and used to visit Centralia regularly to show out of town friends a pretty spooky place. Try to get up into the landfill where I believe most of the fire is. Also seeing the large crack in old Rte 61 is cool but it seems like everyone goes there and decides to leave their mark via graffiti or garbage.
