I mean, having owned a border collie, I rember distinctly having to secretly trash his soft frisbee every 3 months because it was torn up from playing. He didn't destroy them purposefully, he just loved them to death.

I also remember that he could smell new ones, he found and unwrapped his year's supply every Xmas morning. I miss that dog.

For anyone who's interested, these were the ones he loved

Edit: These were actually his favourite, the others were good though!

I feel bad that Bailey was so attached to her toy. They're just like we are. They associate favorite objects with good times, family, comfort and security. Maybe take her to Petco and let her choose her own new toy to make some new memories with?
