Also, this is going to look like the dumbest waste of money, but I found it beneficial in the months post-labor (when my hemmies were the worst): Forces of Nature Fissure Control

Even though it says fissure, it also contains nature-based elements that help reduce swelling and make things feel better. Bonus: it smells really nice.

It lasts a good while, as long as you don't knock it over like me...

Epson salts and this very affordable fissure oil saved me! I was suffereing from extremely painful BMs, and after using this for a few days, there is no more blood, no more pain. I never saw a doctor for my situation so I don't know how severe it was, but it drastically improved.
