Largest amount + easiest effort will be a baited trap of some kind left overnight in a deep pool.
More effort but also productive is the old bacon-on-a-string method. Just drop a baited line with bacon or something like this on it and drop it into nooks and crannies in the rocks. If there is a 'dad under there they will make themselves known very quickly when the bacon gets near. Give the greedy bastard time to grab on and bring it up deliberately - they usually are too dumb to let go.
You can also just walk the stream with and flip rocks as you go, getting ready to grab the ones that jet out. If you have a lot of people a variation of this is to get a bunch of people upstream flipping rocks and causing a ruckus with a guy downstream with a net.
