You could also clamp a fishing net on a camera tripod and angle it to catch your brass.
Handy part being you can use it for most any rifle, pistol or shotgun.
It's not. There is a cord attached that I just have hanging. The fit of the net in the small of my back with the holster has never felt loose. Dropping when I'm using it, all bets are off but it hasn't happened yet!
