Finally, after all these reviews, i'm going to buy these pieces and build my masterpiece-wannabe.

I would like to thanks /u/Raffles7683 for his dedicated, nice and smart help ! Also, thanks to /u/DIK-FUK and /u/golli123.

That's it, the final configuration, which is 2€ cheaper than the first one. WHAT A SAVE. But it's all the way better. I finally picked a I7-6700k as a CPU since nobody seems to know at which point a I5-6600k will bottleneck the GTX 1080, even with a 4.5 Ghz overclock. The debate is running litteraly everywhere and no one has the same point of view. So... I guess i can throw 100€ by the window to be sure and to overlock a i7 to 4.4 Ghz.

  • The CPU has been edited according to /u/Raffles7683's review and /u/DIK-FUK's build suggest. And updated, because no one knows what is a bottleneck, in real world.
  • The RAM / SSD has been edited according to /u/Raffles7683's review, again.
  • The case has been edited according to /u/golli123's review

I will provide some news in the future with, probably, in build photos :)

Now that I'm back from christmas family gathering, I've looked at it a bit more at it (I know you said I shouldnt have ! But I couldn't help it !) and this seems pretty good to me.

Compared to all the parts that I've scouted thus far, your solution seems cheeper... which is very good news. I've tried to match your PCPartPicker suggestions onto the french websites I know, and weirdly enough, amazon.fr seems to be the cheapest solution (see below).

Asus PB278QR Écran PC LED 27" (68,6 cm) 1920 x 1080 pixels 5 ms HDMI/DVI EUR 495,95

EVGA SuperNOVA 110-B2-0750-VR Alimentation PC 750 W Noir EUR 106,37

Boitier Fractal design define s (noir) EUR 79,98

ZT-90204-10P EUR 568,18

Samsung EVO 850 MZ-75E250B/EU Disque Flash SSD interne 2,5" 250 Go SATA III Noir EUR 76,99

Toshiba HDWE140EZSTA 3.5 " 4000 Go serial_ata150 7200 trs/min EUR 154,72 (not the same as you suggested, but I think I'll be able to reuse another HD for this part)

G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB DDR4-2400Mhz EUR 186,00

Intel Processeur Core I7-5820K - 3.60GHz - Haswell E - 1056 Socket - Boite EUR 415,90

Scythe Ashura Heatpipe Ventilateur PC en aluminium cuivre AMD Intel EUR 45,90

MSI X99A SLI Krait Edition Carte mère Intel ATX Socket 1150 EUR 280,90

Without the HD, the grand total would be: EUR 2.256,17

What change would you have done ?

I'd say that I was expecting the prices to be much more different ($ vs €) except maybe for the power supply, the videocard and the motherboard, which seems a bit more expensive here in France.

Sorry if I bother you with all this, you helped me a lot already. I hope you had a great christmas.

Check out this loophole saying you can use accessibility technology to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Always backup before upgrading just in case any issues come up.

This case is my favorite regarding silence, available interior space, easy cleaning, and able to hold internal dvd drive/ssd/hd.

Below is a cheaper version if you don't need an internal optical drive or many storage drives in your system.
