It looks a lot like this one:

I believe all the right parts are connected. And the rest of the loose parts are the frame that holds the fabric. There are so many pieces so you can make the frame the size you like. Like this one:

I had to retire from my job in 2015 due to hand problems and I thought that all of my plans to take up cross-stitch again after a 30 year break were down the drain because I absolutely could not hand-hold. Then I found this and it saved me.

I used it for 2 years then bought a bigger one, then went to a lap stand, and I'm still happily stitching away. You can get the Edmunds stand for cheaper at Michaels or JoAnn when they have their 40 or 50% off 1 item coupons, I only paid $29 for mine. I know I avoided, or at least delayed, surgery by switching to a stand, my hand actually got better! :)

I got that stand you just clamp you hoop in it. I use it while sitting on my futon or in my desk chair

I've got a similar stand. Mine typically works better if I have the clamp holding from the top of the frame/hoop as shown in the image here.

The universal craft stand! Amazon has it here, though I've also seen them at Joanns and Michaels (not sure what stores you have available).
I definitely want to get one soon.

I have this craft stand. It works quite well. It's kind of a pain to assemble though.

Generally high ratings, but some users complain that it can be diffocult to get to the bacl of a pattern.
