Are you talking about the gel that you rub onto your skin in circles and it brings up all the dirt and dead skin? If so, I love that stuff. I heard it uses papaya enzymes. I'm pretty confident that the little dead skin balls aren't all dead skin, they are mostly made up of the product after it reacts with your dead skin, but I still LOVE how it makes my skin feel super smooth after using it.
To specifically answer your question, no, I have not found anything cheaper. I purchased this a while back with high hopes, but in my opinion it did not work NEARLY as well. So I just use the EWC stuff sparingly so I don't have to buy it too often.
The only thing that I've been able to do to help me is use a gel exfoliant a couple times a week to help take off the dry dead skin then my lotion seems to work better. My hands are screwed though I have to lotion them like five times a day from washing them plus winter skin.
