I just thought it cool fyi to drop here in respect to the MarbleMachine project and older music player types mechanics and start of early use of electronics vs bellows or vacuums or pumps using mechanical or human generated energy.

Someone on the Straight Dope website asked your question too - 'A review of Magic Music from The Telharmonium from 1995 says that no known recording exists. '

Magic Music from the Telharmonium-- https://www.historyofrecording.com/Telharmonium.html
"Since no recordings of the Telharmonium have been preserved, the music is a recreation of what the instrument must have sounded like, based on descriptions published in the numerous reviews and other articles of the early 1900s."-

Best to contact that David Stubbs who investigated wrote the book about the instrument and maker. Find if he Tweets?has Email, write his publisher?
