Could someone explain to me the difference between these Bass oxfords and these Bass oxfords? I'm looking to pick some up & can't ignore the cheaper price tag on the Pasadenas, but the Buckinghams are always the recommended ones.

I have no personal experience with these, but I'm putting on my detective hat. Amazon lists both, as well as another similar model called Brockton. Buckingham Pasadena Brockton
Here's what I can see: Each model has a different pattern on the sole. The Buckingham looks slightly smaller in the toe. The "welt" is different (Buckingham has a flat welt, while the other two have the appearance of a storm welt). The insole on the Buckingham looks to me like it might be leather, while the Pasadena's insole looks like some kind of fabric. The grain of the suede on the Buckingham looks smoother when I zoom in, so maybe nicer leather is most of what you're paying for on the Buckingham.
The link you posted is not the same shoes the original BIFL post was made about. The shoes the OP has there are these, but it looks like they are no longer produced.
However, I can tell you that the Bass Buckinghams that you linked to are great shoes. They look good, go with pretty much anything, and are very comfortable. I have 2 pairs myself. I would not pay $85 for them though, they almost always sell for around $70. Bass does the same thing as many brands and has inflated high MSRPs so that everything can always be on "Sale".
You are in luck though, the same shoes are currently $60 on amazon and 6pm for most sizes. That is a pretty good price for them and a great value. I don't think you could find anything better for $60.
Could also go with Bass Buckinghams for $60 (or cheaper if you wait for a sale)
My Clarks Bushacres are perfectly comfortable in the summer. I also like the frequently recommended Bass Buckingham oxford.
