Could someone explain to me the difference between these Bass oxfords and these Bass oxfords? I'm looking to pick some up & can't ignore the cheaper price tag on the Pasadenas, but the Buckinghams are always the recommended ones.

Hi guys - moving to NorCal for grad school and trying to plug a few gaps in my wardrobe by then. Couple questions.

I need a pair of shoes to wear with jeans when I want to look a bit more presentable. Would bass bucks or CDBs better fill this niche?

What is your recommendation for a low rise shoe to wear with shorts? I've got a pair of grey/grey vans LPE but I'm not a huge fan of how they look.

to me it looks like they have a lot of extra stitching and components. the dr. martens sole looks out of place and the shoe's shape is bulbous.

if you want a less shiny look then maybe look at suede shoes?

Should be fine. Bass has similar suede derbies that look a little more classic and are a bit less expensive

Tan bucks or brown blucher mocs would probably both work for you.

Bass buckingham's are similar but I am having trouble finding them quickly. Also, Bass pasadena's are similar but are suede.

I found these shoes in this color for amazon at approximately the same price here.

Those are the Pasadena's. Not sure why the seller listed them as Bucks

Can I wear taupe shoes with khaki-colored pants/ shorts? Thinking taupe shoes like these.

Bass Pasadenas Taupe are 60 on Amazon and I just got a pair at DSW today for 50.

I have wide feet too, and I've found that Bass Pasadena fit's pretty wide, even in the normal width...and it comes in wide too (I've also tried on the Brockton, and it was way too narrow). You can find Pasadena's on a bunch of sites, and I recently saw them on sale for $50 at a Bass outlet. That's a good place to try them on if you have one nearby.

Judging by the slimmer toebox, I think they're the Bass Pasadenas
