(I own a S7 Edge)
I currently use Spigen Slim armor, it's protected my S7 from so many scratches however the scratches are very noticeable on the case.
Unfortunately there is not many great glass screen protectors for the S7 Edge, this shouldn't be a problem for the S7, the gorilla glass is great however even a cheap protector could be a lifesaver. (I believe everyone is waiting for the Zagg glass screen protector which should come out in the next two months.)
I'm considering changing case to either this or this
I have the supcase unicorn beetle series which I love. I almost makes the phone look like the active variant. But it's a frosted back.

I really like it, feels comfortable and tough. Dropped it a couple times, only been damaged once at a corner by something kinda sharp.

The cracking in the bottom rightof my screen protector is due to a defect, I applied some pressure with my thumb nail and it spidered out, not from lack of protection from case necessarily.

Best case I ever used. Got it for $1 for my girlfriend's iPhone, and it worked so well I got one for my S7e, and eventually my S7.

Black. Mostly because I'm boring. But also, because it'll do like a contrast thing with the screen and stuff. Lastly, I'll probably put it in a protector anyway. So black phones tend to look better in those. I'm considering 3 cases for rigidity. But I also want to get pretty looking cases that I'll keep in my drawer and never use in my life.

I think I saw some of the ones you showed me in the link in a local mall here. But I haven't seen them for the S7. Will prolly find them after some looking.
The ones I'm a bit more interested in are these weird animals with patterns and colors that illuminate in the dark. However, I only found those for the edge variant.
