Looks like you have DVI-I dual link, HDMI and Display port. If your using the VGA cable then you can use this adapter.

There are adapters for the other two ports as well.
Is this what you are talking about? Inspect both ends of this connector and verify that this will fit between your card and the cable that connects the monitor.
When you have a external GPU in the system the one built into the CPU/motherboard is disabled by default so those ports are not active. On most newer Intel chipsets you can go into the BIOS and in the video settings section set the integrated graphics device to “always enable”.
This will let you use the the integrated video to get the computer up and running. Your computer will not be using any of the capabilities of the 270x until you hook your monitor up to it though.
Your video card should have come with a DVI to VGA adaper like this (http://www.amazon.com/DVI-I-Dual-Link-15-Pin-VGA-Adapter/dp/B0037UCTXG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409421999&sr=8-1&keywords=dvi-i+to+vga+adaptor) though.
Oh, does the monitor have a cable that you can't remove? You can just buy a little adapter then. Something like this.
