Oh and here’s the portable AC I was speaking of! You could even install transom windows kits for light rather than circulation if you went with this. As I mentioned, I’d put them above the doors and closets!
Though I understand many apartments don't allow in-window air conditioners I believe that they all should allow the upright style with a window sill vent. My brother has one of these to cool his bedroom and says it works well. Personally a fan works well enough for me, the heat just doesn't last long enough to bother me.

well I bought one of these at the recommendation of my coworker. So look for a similar model with decent reviews I guess. Mine works great at keeping my temps in the mid 70's in my grow tent.. which is in my room as well. It comes with a connector to hook up to your sliding window.
Grab a portable air conditioner unit, I faced a similar dilemma and it's increased my quality of life so much.
I have this one and it works well but there are a bunch of different models.
I have to keep the door closed all the time because of pets and so I can’t really vent air in to the room any other way besides the window and it only opens by like folding outwards vertically if that makes sense. Why wouldn’t something like this A/C unit work to cool the bedroom by hooking it up to the window? I figure that would in turn help help the tent temps lower because I just have a small fan blowing air in through an open vent on the bottom. Also what would be the difference between that and the 2 hose?
