In my experience those lighting things are kind of you get what you pay for ish, while LED's are a dime a dozen for sure.

this is the projector I have and it is very pixelated for your computer screen or movies but for milkdrop its perfect, it just has to be very dark.

But more like the other things your looking at I would suggest a UV LASER!! it instantly makes anything that glows in the dark, well glow or just your plain OG green laser if you can't be trusted with ultraviolet eye damaging power.

MOAR LASERS

I would suggest some glow in the dark pigment to mix with paint or glue for any and all places. Or you could paint a surface and draw on it with the UV laser.

My friend got this from his sister as a gift and left it at my house and, while kewl, I could buy much much much more mind blowing stuff for $100.
