It’s very interesting material, but the writing style is dry and textbook-like, and disjointed without clear transitions from one chapter to the next so it’s not easy to read. It is very well-researched and has given me a lot to think about. It’s focused on historical evidence rather than any sort of spiritual guidance, but if you enjoy reading history then I’d recommend it.
