I'm using it currently, and it's very good at removing snow(significantly better than using a shovel like I used to).
Up to the mouth opening, so long as it's not the real wet heavy stuff. Right about what you see in the video.
Remember, these are electric so you're limited by your extension cord. I wouldn't go beyond a 100 foot cord. Also, it only throws forward. So if you need a long distance of coverage and need to throw to the side then you should look at a gas snow blower. Try for a smaller one if space is an issue. There are 3 basic sizes to them.
This one is an electric snow blower that's nice and compact. The handle folds down for storage, too.
