You should read this book. It's a great no bullshit guide to what works from everyone's favourite creepy mind bender.

I been reading a really good book recently that I can thoroughly recommend. Happy is by Derren Brown who is better known as a stage and tv illusionist up until now.

Its really informative and makes you think on what being happy really is and different ways to achieve happiness. Its really well written and often funny.

That is a tough question. Luck definitely plays a role, and it's easy to compare yourself to your peers. I would recommend the following:

At the above website read free copy of mark manson's 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck'

Hi there! Sorry you're not going to get a very useful response from this sub since as /u/Ecclesius says we're about games here. Sorry though that you're having a sad time of things and my suggestion is almost certainly going to sound trite.

There's a book I would recommend (and have recommended, to considerable effect) to people who are finding it difficult. It's called Happy, by Derren Brown. Links below:

The usual advice stands - talk to someone if you can, find someone you can talk to if you don't. But I have had great success referring people to this book for something they can do right now and without the risk of vulnerability.

I hope this helps, sorry I can't help more.
