Keep in mind the xbox360 requires special chips in their controllers before they can work and this adapter and most others will require you to plug in a wired 360 controller to bypass this. There very well may be other work arounds but this is as simple as it gets other than learning stick and having a dualmod.

Yes, it IS possible, I have two different adapters that it works with.
I have a pelican branded one, that I believe was originally intended for use with ps2 guitar controllers on the ps3, and it will even work with my logitech wireless ps2 controller.
the other one i have allows you to use a ps2 controller on pc, ps3 and 360, however, it does not work with a wireless ps2 controller. Lets see if I can find pics of them...
