So, I'm about halway through the first Nikki Heat book and it's pretty good. Very pulpy. Overall a pretty good read for any hardcore castle fan (at least of what i've read so far). The main characters aren't castle and becket, it's Nikki Heat and Jameson Rook. Obviously those characters are thinly veiled castle and becket, and the events aren't the same as the show, but the cool thing is when the show talks about the books castle is writing and refers to specific page numbers, you can go to those pages and actually see what they're talking about.
