I couldn't find the exact model he's using, but I found these on amazon. HERE

Personally I use these but I only use straps on high reps deadlifts. Hope this helped.

Hey, I'm really late to the game. But I hope you're doing well in working around your hand issues.

I myself have severe nerve damage in my right arm which affects the hand a lot. I've always worked out with weight training resistance bands, but ever since I combined a carpal tunnel wrist brace and this weight lifting hook my workouts have improved drastically.

I also have one of those NSD Spinners others have suggested, but yeah.

Good luck, man. We're here for you.

I use metal ones from amazon that were $16 shipped. They are A+

600 lb rating and I moved 545 w them last night. I’ve been using them for months and for back day if I had to choose between headphones and the hooks I’d choose the hooks.

Maybe you could try a pair lifting hooks. I haven't used them personally, but something like this might help you: https://www.amazon.com/Lifting-Neoprene-Power-WeightLifting-Training/dp/B0145V6ISM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1496067517&sr=8-3

Other than that maybe you could do dumbbell pullovers (if you can hold the dumbbell with two hands), and of course you can train lower back with hyperextensions, banded good mornings, Zercher deadlifts, reverse hypers, etc. You might also be able to do some kind of Zercher shrugs - I'm not sure if that's a thing, but imagine a bentover row, but you hold the bar in the crook of your elbows and shrug it.

I like the hook grip, it helps me with my regular hands ..... I hope that doesn’t come off as rude. I don’t know if you’ll be able to do it with your hand disability but you certainly can with your other hand.

The straps would be a great tool to utilize. you might even try these hooks at least on the hand with the disability. I’ve not tried them personally so I can’t give a comprehensive review but they did come to mind.

You could use wrist wraps or hooks which would be easier getting on and off the bar
