Thanks so much for your advice!! I actually looked up a bit about the echinacea after I saw your first comment and saw a few articles about how to go a week on a week or 2 off so they dont build up a tolerance to it.

Its a childrens kind thats alcohol free. Do you think that would be okay? I am going to take mine to the vet still just to make sure that hes okay and he gets the meds he needs. But it would be nice to have this stuff too in case of flare ups.
