Reddit reviews High School DxD, Vol. 1 - manga

I personally don't have the Japanese light novels because I can't read them. Though I do kinda feel bad getting so many hours of entertainment for free and have thought about purchasing them to support it. To make up for it I donate a few bucks every LN I read to Code-Zero as a thank you. I do purchase the anime, that's just digitally through iTunes.

If you do order from Amazon, make sure you are ordering the Light Novels and not the Manga (Bascially a comic). Unless it's different from the Canadian Amazon, they only sell the mangas. Unless you want the manga, some people get them confused as many stores like Amazon.ca don't say whether it's a LN or Manga. You have to know the cover. This is the manga. This is the Light Novel.

I download the LN's to my iPad. It wasn't from Baku-Taku though, I forget the website but I'll quickly look around to find it. I'll edit my post if I do if you're interested in downloading them. It's the same stuff on Baku-Taku and Code-Zero's blog, just a downloadable PDF including the images.

Edit2: I should mention, I'd probably guess 95+% of people here read from Baku-Taku or some form of Code Zero's translations. There's a few people that can't wait for the translations and will throw a volume through Google Translate, but God help those poor souls. Unless you can still find enjoyment after you know what will happen, I'd recommend just waiting for a translation of your language of choice, as the experience is much better. Google Translate is probably the worst way to experience the LN's, though I guess it's better than nothing for some people. I'm not positive, but I believe there's a Spanish translation as well. But I don't know how many volumes are translated. Also maybe Korean.

That is infact the mange, the LNs havent been translated officially yet, thus no physical copies exist.
