Both HoX & PoX will be collected in a hardcover edition: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1302915703/?coliid=IFYRWLB68WKG7&colid=3M98F7RDH1MFM&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Since I primarily collect hardcover, this is extremely good news.

I'd recommend buying https://www.amazon.com/House-X-Powers-Jonathan-Hickman/dp/1302915703 which will be out Dec 10th according to Amazon. It's a compilation of the recent 12 issue kickoff to the new X-Men. It's a good jumping on point for a fun story that can branch off in lots of different ways and should be easy enough to find the next few issues of.

If you're going to do it you'd want to get X-Men #1/#2 with it (this is already out). The whole concept behind it is that the mutants create a mutant nation and what that would look like. What are the geo-political costs of a nation appearing overnight? How would the new residents get along?

Then you just pick and choose from the other Dawn of X titles (X-Force, Marauders, Excalibur, Fallen Angels, New Mutants) which are all built around versions of this "Mutant Nation" theme. Whichever interests you. I'm currently doing X-Force and Marauders.

Marauders

Roster : Storm, Iceman, Pyro, Bishop, and Captain Kitty/Kate Pryde

> With backing from Emma Frost, the new Marauders sail the seas and protect their people.

> Gerry Duggan then talks Marauders. "I've wanted to write a pirate book for a long time and didn't know where I was going to do it, and when me and Hickman talked I finally had the chance," Duggan said. "We are moving the medicines off of Krakoa to the humans and we're on the underground railroad on the way back. Big surprises that we've held back in those books and I can't wait for readers to check those books out."

--------------------------------

Excalibur

Roster : Captain Britain, Rogue, Gambit, Jubilee, Rictor and Apocalypse

> Starting with Tini Howard and Marcus To's EXCALIBUR #1, Betsy Braddock—AKA the new Captain Britain—will fight across Otherworld to keep the Kingdom of Avalon at relative peace.

> "To me, it instantly spoke to this idea of seeing mutants thrive and build cultural things that cultures don't often build until they're able to thrive and flourish. There are so many things that are open to them now, and now they have the opportunity to learn and grow and make art and magic, and that's what this is the story of, and also being the story of one Betsy Braddock, who has recently been divorced from a body that was not her own, and we're going to see her go on a journey as well. Along with her are some of my favorite X-Men characters, some I grew up loving," Howard said about Excalibur.

--------------------------------

X-Force

Roster : Beast, Jean Grey, Sage, Wolverine, Kid Omega and Domino

> "It's an agency," Percy said. "It's a branch of government. It's the mutant CIA. One half of this design you have the intelligence unit, headed by Beast. On the other side, you have the field ops, the wetwork, headed by Wolverine, meaning you have the head and the fist."

> He added, "This is a dirty book. This is a gritty book. Bad s* happens in X-Force. On the final page of X-Force #1 something happens that will ripple through the entire line. Be there."

--------------------------------

New Mutants

Roster : Magik, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Mirage, Karma, Chamber, Mondo and Boom Boom

> Hitching a ride with the Starjammers, the New Mutants team are heading on a mission into space to track down their friend Cannonball to coax him to come back and see what a paradise Krakoa is. Sort of a classic New Mutants tale with a new spin

--------------------------------

Fallen Angels**

Roster : Kwannon, Cable, and X-23

> "The main focus of the book is going to be on Psylocke. There was a long story of Betsy Braddock being in her body and then taking it back again, so we're going to go into her past and explore what that was like. Cable and X-23 are supporting characters, and they are all uncomfortable on Krakoa when this books starts out," White said.

None of these books have gone past issue #2 yet. So if you grab the big 12 issue compilation it should be super easy to still grab whichever side stories you're into.

House of X and Powers of X are each 6 issue mini series that tell one story about the new status quo of X-Men. X-Men #1 directly picks up after that. There's a hardcover that was just recently announced that collects the 12 issue story, coming out in December:
