I haven't read it, but How to Teach Physics to You r Dog is supposed to be very easy to understand.

Simon Singh's 'The Code Book' is a very good introduction to the history of Cryptology if you liked his other book.

Haha, good point. I'm only in my second semester, so we haven't gotten there yet. I did just read a sort of beginner's book on it, and I really enjoyed it. But I'm sure it barely scratched the surface.
