Thanks. So my current ceiling fan has a dish-like cover at the bottom that is kept in place by a decorative metal screw-on piece. Behind that cover are 3 sockets for 40W bulbs. I bought 60W LEDs to replace the 40W incandescent bulbs and they are not as warm. So my room is now a bit brighter and cooler in tone, but still not bright enough for me.

I could not find any higher wattage LEDs of that bulb size at Home Depot. If they make them and I can buy like 100W bulbs of the same size elsewhere, do you think that would be enough to fill a room of my 12'x11' size with brighter daytime-like lighting? Or am I going to have to find a different ceiling fan that takes larger bulbs?

I'm leaning towards replacing the current ceiling fan because my ceiling is only 9' high and the current fan drops down from the ceiling about 2'.. I'm looking at a low profile ceiling fan that drops down only 1' and has a shorter diameter of 44" vs 52".. I think this should help my room feel bigger and have me feel like I have more headroom under the fan.

I've been looking at one like this:
