Books on Fractal Geometry tend to have pretty pictures:

Indra's Pearls: The Vision of Felix Klein by David Mumford et al.

Beauty of Fractals by Heinz-Otto Peitgen et al

Fractal Geometry of Nature by Benoit Mandelbrot

For what it's worth New Kind of Science by Stepeh Wolfram has tons of pretty pictures, even if the content is dubious.

you might also want to checkout the Non-Euclidean Geometry for babies and other similar titles.

How about Indra’s Pearls by Mumford, Series, & Wright? Very good used copy for $33.55 shipped (but maybe slow shipping), good used copy for $32.24 shipped from Amazon’s warehouse.

Should hit your criteria of weird, related to abstract algebra, number theory, complex analysis, topology, and computer science (well, drawing shapes on a computer anyway), and should be accessible if you put some effort in.

Not exactly a textbook though. Also not sure this counts as “finite”... how about we go with “discrete” instead.

The book Indra's Pearls is a little different. It's mostly about mathematical ideas you're unfamiliar with, but I think it has something to offer for everyone from laypeople to professional mathematicians.
