Something similar happens to me when I have a cold or an allergy flair up, but it's not a regular occurrence. Is it possible that you have a sinus infection? I've been really lucky and not had that happen (knock on wood!) but a coworker isn't as fortunate and having air forced up his nose every night is not conducive to recovery! :)
