an Insteon Hub plus some Insteon dimmable switches plus some dimmable bulbs should do the trick.. if you plan on using LED bulbs, be warned, a lot of the ones out there flicker when dimmed on certain light switches; the Cree brand seems to work well, so do the Costco brand ones.
once you have all that, you can send HTTP Post commands to the hub via Tasker.
i made a Zooper widget that launches Tasker tasks when you press certain parts of it. that way i could display my home's layout and just press on certain rooms to toggle the lighting.
