It's real, it's just that once the actual title and cover was revealed, the description was edited to be more specific about the three stories, which ended up removing the "prank gone wrong" part from the description (It will still happen in the story, it was just removed from the description for reasons mentioned above)

There is also a rumoured Halloween pack set to release for FNAF VR : HW. However, it has not been confirmed yet.
There was also quite a lot of book news. The Updated Freddy Files released and it had a very interesting teaser at the end. You can find it here. We still don't know what project it's referring to though.
The first two covers and descriptions for the Fazbear's Frights series were revealed. (#1 ) (#2) and they are releasing in a few months (different countries have different dates)
