One of them I think. It started coming out just 10 days of use. I think it may have to do with my climate.

As I live in AZ. And we are seeing an Average of 120° during the day.

The metal frame likes to absorb that heat. And gets super hot. So I think it may have loosened the adhesive? And it just started coming out.

The glass (front and back) sits on TOP the frame. Not in it. So you have a seal buried in between both glass and frame.

This is left side (looking at screen), rear glass and frame.

Shit happens. And HTC said I was the first to report that issue. It's buried in there. Only way you could purposely take it out. Is by digging a needle in there.

I'm not entirely sure. But on Jerryrigseverything YouTube channel. He folded the u11 in half. And I don't recall seeing the seal come off, even then.

Other than that, the phone worked absolutely fine. Sent it in today. As if I kept it any longer. I'll be charged for it. My new one I activated today. But got on June 29th.

I have a FULL body case and shield on it. Doesn't feel as hot outside. And is fully protected now.

Before that discovery, my rear glass had micro scratches I'm positive I didn't cause. I had the provided case on it since it came out the box.

Got to keep all my accessories. So that's a damn plus 😃 got double everything now.

Still haven't received my 2 free Amazon Echo dot code.

Original order was June 6th. Arrived June 7th. Got it June 16th (long story), put my claim in June 9th (son sent me pictures of the mied and S/N on side of box.

Other than that. I love the phone.

Screen protector I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072MSBFDK/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Case I bought. It's squeezable too. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073DFNG4T/ref=pe_825000_114665720_TE_item_image/142-1340119-7274156

I wouldn't worry to much. As I really thought it was a dog hair or something. (didn't have my glasses on.) and pulled it. That's when I was like "the fuck?" it was just a tiny bit at first. Then it would come out, more and more during friction I guess.

New one I really, really checked. It seems good so far. Battery is doing real strong. So far it's like my original. Just no issues yet. I got a brand new replacement in the end. So it's nothing to complain about really. Just thought I'd post it. So if it does become a common issue, at least we are aware, right? Hopefully it's not. As no testers ever mentioned such a thing. And they tend to be rough with the phones they test. So Its hard to say really. It's not like it sits flush with the edge. It's deep inside the small gap you see that surrounds the U11 front and back.
