Also, every cat owner should own the book "Is Your Cat Crazy?" by John C. Wright and Judi Wright-Lashnits. Amazon has it. Do yourself a big favor and order it. John C. Wright is the President of the Animal Behavior Association, the organization governing and certifying Applied Animal Behaviorists in the US--that's what I'm studying to do, though it requires a doctorate and I'm still a long way from that. Hence the "pet behavior consultant" name, as I refuse to use the title Animal Behaviorist until I earn my doctorate and certification.
