Their business model won't support that.

Right now, Wallmart employees pretty much have nowhere else to shop but Wallmart. Their salaries are not high enough to afford to go elsewhere. It's the modern day 16 Tons where they owe their souls to the company store.

Wallmart's business model isn't even actually all that smart. When salaries are that low, the middle class doesn't exist and therefore can't support a consumerist economy.
