I have an old Japanese for Dummies book that is all in romaji. Looking at the second editon on amazon, looks like they use Japanese text AND romaji.

JAPANESE! Sosososooso bad. Because I want to visit the country one day, and it may make watching anime easier. It's an oddball language and I hear quite difficult, but it's something I've wanted to do for a while.
