I got this. Fits my 10.5” great and has a nice texture on the back.

I already had purchased this case here for my ipad, and I typically do one of two things.

• If I'm sitting at a table I'll prop my iPad up like this
  
• If I'm in a recliner, or on a couch, or sitting up in bed I have a thick memory foam pillow that is hard enough to rest my forearms on while I hold the iPad up, and is much more comfortable.

I've been pretty pleased with it. Smelled a little funky at first, but I just left it air out for a few hours and it was fine. The integrated SmartCover is actually more sturdy than the one I bought from Apple and so the iPad wobbles a lot less when I'm using it with the Cover being used like a kick stand.

Edit: Get this one instead. The first product I listed was good, but this back cover is so much better when paired with a SmartCover.

I also had a glass cover on it. I bring it to the gym for various reasons. One of the major reasons I dropped it as well was that I had the front cover actually folded to the back, which caused it to be a bit more slippery.

I got this one and its better than the apple smartcase i had on my air 2.

Slim and protects the iPad on the front and back, which was important to me.

There's also this: https://www.studioneat.com/products/canopy but it doesn't protect the iPad, just the keyboard.

I've been using this case since I got the iPad and it's fine. Not amazing, but for $8, how can you go wrong? It was $15 when I got it and I'd get it again.

I clipped this a tiny bit on the bottom to make room for the whole Smart Keyboard magnetic strip. The cover just peels off easy too. Works good for me.

Right I saw that one, but I would prefer not leather because leather is a little hard to clean and I'm just not quite a fan of the feel. As of now, I'm deciding between these 2:

I really like how thin this case is, it’s a basic 2 angle and cheap iPad smart case but the quality is great (and even better than I expected)

I ordered this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07175N8XP/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to protect my iPad for the time being, at least until better accessories are made....I was hoping for a Smart Case from Apple, but they disappointed me.

Also, it's not bulky.

Bonus is that the keyboard has magnets in it, so it will stick to this case when it is closed. Makes it handy if you are carrying things in your hand - like I do when I go to meetings.

I wanted something that would cover the front and back of my 10.5 and my options were limited during release week. I ordered the JETech one from Amazon, so far so good.
