John Dies at the End. I only mention it because I picked it up again on Christmas the other day, having bought it in August 2010. It's teenage humor mixed with legitimate terror (read: dick jokes).

The part where they feed the possessed dog TestaMints... pure gold.

First off, LOL.

It's completely overdone, but I still like it. My advice would be to read John Dies at the End (assuming it's not too much of a mindfuck for you) and give it another go.

Also, I'm pretty sure you meant 'fictional.' Pretty sure, anyways.

Agreed.

Over the past 6 months, I've probably pirated 50 books compared to the 5 I've purchased.

Yes its unethical, but I'm poor and love to read. If the books are good, I try to support the author in any way I can.

Ps: If you havent already, read John dies at the end

December 16th, 2013. I'm relatively new to RAoA but this is an item I added on my first day <3

Yeah, or the ghost of a witch. It was a decent book, and pretty engaging but definitely not as surreal as the films mentioned. I have not read John Dies at the End , but I love the authors other philosophical comedy writing and plan on giving it a try. Check out the reviews on there, it sounds like it might be what you're after.

edit: don't know what's up with the link there, but the book is John Dies at the End

another edit: Here is the promotional site for it.

last (?) edit: FYI, don't put a space twixt the url bracket and description parenthesis :)
