I have this one. Although, my dog could not learn the concept of just hanging on to the handle. She kept trying to bite the whole ball... I think she finally gets it now, but still doesnt love playing with it.

Greyhounds love slumberballs! I got my 60 pound girl a extra large one since I knew she'd like a lot of room to stretch out on it, so you could either do that size or size up to a giant one to allow him to be more comfortable. Either size would work though.

Did you get toys yet? How about a raised feeder? In my experience with fostering and owning my girl, they don't seem to be too big on chew types of toys, but love squeaky toys. Mine loves this squeaky toy since the squeaker is super loud and strong, and this plush toy. A little while after we got her we also realized that while she wasn't into small balls like tennis balls or anything, she really loved big balls like soccer balls. I was sick of her destroying soccer balls quickly, so I got her one of these since it was recommeded to me by someone at the dog park, and that thing is seriously indestructible. As far as feeders go, if you haven't gotten one yet then I'd recommend this one. $20 and comes with two bowls. I've had it for a year now with no problems.

Try the Jolly Pets Tug-n-Toss we have the romp-n-roll and the ball is very durable. My GSD has put tooth marks in it but hasn't managed to rip it or pull out chunks. The Tug-n-toss is made of the same stuff.

Orbee makes some very durable toys. Look for the ones that are 5/5 chompers. They are a soft rubbery texture but very resilient.

Tug toys made of braided fleece seem to be the strongest.

Freeze chicken/beef broth in small containers with bits of kibble, cheese or hot dog added. Nearly impossible to chomp up quickly but they can be a little messy if they melt on the floor.

Make her use her brain more. Mental stimulation can also tire them out. Collies are very smart (and Goldens aren't bad either). Do at least one short training session every day. Practice heeling, teach her to 'sit pretty', work on stay.

Food dispensing toys are also good for mental stimulation. Look at the Kong Stuff-a-ball or Wobbler, Busy Buddy Squirrel Dude, Buster cube.
