Check out Alejandro Jodorowsky’s “Way of the Tarot”. I recommend really any of his books or any books by Tracy Twyman. Her “Baphomet: The Temple Mystery Unveiled” will give you quite a bit of information to immerse yourself into. Also maybe check out “Jung and the Tarot.” Enjoy!

Edit: I’ll add that I don’t always agree with Jodorowsky, sometimes his opinions are even mildly distressing to me. But his writing is worthwhile anyway, and there is much to learn even while observing his conclusions that I don’t share. :)

I don't know much about the Tarot myself, but I have looked into it a bit since I've been discovering how MBTI and the Enneagram is only like two degrees of separation from basically all the esoteric stuff you can imagine. I've had to go back and think, "well, if I believe what Jung says here, maybe I should not dismiss this other stuff so quickly." I did find this book not too long ago that discusses exactly what you are talking about here. It is called "Jung and Tarot: An Archetypal Journey." The description is as follows:

>Highly innovative work presenting a piercing interpretation of the tarot in terms of Jungian psychology. Through analogy with the humanities, mythology and the graphic arts, the significance of the cards is related to personal growth and individuation. The major arcana becomes a map of life, and the hero's journey becomes something that each individual can relate to the symbolism of the cards and therefore to the personal life.

My reading list grows longer by the day, but maybe at some point I'll read this book.

Also check out "Jung and Tarot: An Archetypal Journey" by Sallie Nichols. It's a Jungian approach to understanding Tarot cards, not for divination but as protection of the subconscious mind. link
