Backers

I’ve found these to work really well on my uniform.

We use these, my wife wears pins constantly, including some of our really rare ones, we've never had a pin fall off with these backs and you don't need a tool to remove them.

Locking Clutch Backs

They keep collar brass on when you get assaulted by a seatbelt or you're required to wear them with an outer carrier (for some ungodly reason). They also keep your nameplate on when your interior vest sits in a wear position and strips off the regular or rubber clutches when you turn your body left.

The only down side is that they're a bit bulky.

I honestly think you're shilling these all wrong because you're missing the whole point. You keep downplaying that they are magnetic but thats the main selling point of the product.

There are plenty of options for locking pin backs out there (those are three different links), and these screw-on types are actually reviled by many for warping the studs on the back of pins, or leaving dents on it.

Again, the ability to turn pins into magnets is absolutely brilliant. Locking pin backs is not new territory.
