And ignore anyone who says it's weird to take photos with it. This is the device you would look at those photos on later, so you're snapshotting exactly what you want to come back to later.

I'll be going with THIS one. I use the smart keyboard and this will help protect the back and look like it belongs.

Currently, I use a beige smart cover on the back. It works surprisingly well on the back of my iPad with the smart keyboard on the front. I put it on the back only while it's in my bag.

I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WXGD7F which offers better protection because it isn't plastic (think TPU like case) and hides the Apple logo nicely.

I got the version with a holder for the pencil and it's great. Good texture, fits well, and holding up great. My only complaint would be that the covered
powe and volume buttons are a little clunky to hit, not bad at all though.

This is all you need. Get a smart case with it from Apple. Amazing case that I genuinely think about how happy I am with it on a daily basis.

Edit to add: You don't need the smart cover with the keyboard. The regular cover works perfect and adds virtually no size at all.
