For whatever reason, kitchenaid recently has just been taking what seems like random shots in terms of new products. Their mixers are top notch, their pourover coffee brewer is great, but all their other new items are pretty meh or just downright horrible. Their coffee grinder is pretty poor for the price point, their espresso machine is hilariously bad (but so gorgeous to look at) Though, skimming the more recent reviews, it looks like they may have addressed a lot of the issues.
